Down Yonder is a four-bedroom house on Lake Harding in Salem, Alabama. The dock is private and deep-water. The pool is saltwater. A lake week here is boat, swim, and the quiet after dark — not a circuit of errands.
That is the point of the stay. Auburn, Columbus, and Ft. Benning are each about 30 minutes when you want a game, a post visit, or a night off the water. Most days you will not need the car.

Jordan-Hare game weekends work from here. The house is about 30 minutes from Auburn — close enough for kickoff, far enough that the evening still belongs to the lake. Four bedrooms hold the crew. See the lake house near Auburn.
Columbus and Ft. Benning are about 30 minutes the other direction, which is why a weekend near Columbus does not have to be a production.
