Down Yonder is a four-bedroom house on Lake Harding in Salem, Alabama. The dock is private and deep-water. The pool is saltwater. A lake week here is boat, swim, and the quiet after dark — not a circuit of errands.
That is the point of the stay. Auburn, Columbus, and Ft. Benning are each about 30 minutes when you want a game, a post visit, or a night off the water. Most days you will not need the car.

Columbus and Ft. Benning are about 30 minutes the other direction, which is why a weekend near Columbus does not have to be a production. On October 9, On the Tracks is in Opelika if you want one night off the water.
